Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle fought out a hugely entertaining - but goalless - draw at Loftus Road.
The pre-match hype was all about former Toon favourite Joey Barton - named skipper on his Rs debut by boss Neil Warnock - but it was fellow debutant Shaun Wright-Phillips who caught the eye with a brilliant first appearance in a Rangers shirt.
There were hugs all round as Barton greeted his former team-mates before the kick-off but the gloves were soon off amid a crackling atmosphere in west London.
