Caregiver Support Center | A Commitment to Supporting Caregivers

The caregiver plays a vital role on the treatment team by managing the patient's care, according to The Joint Commission. By providing caregivers the support they need, we let caregivers know that they are not alone. Someone is there to listen and help empower them in their demanding role.

The Caregiver Support Center provides an oasis within the hospital setting: a confidential, safe and soothing environment for the caregiver that provides that person with friendly staff and many caregiving resources. By working with the Center's multidisciplinary team, caregivers can also receive support from many programs affiliated with Montefiore, both within the hospital and across New York City.
