The chinese checkers puzzle was too hard for me. Believe me, I tried for days. But in order to complete the game, I had to look it up.

Yes, that is probably the hardest puzzle in the game, along with the pinball puzzle in the Puzzle Room.

I never figured out how'd Merrick had the time or place (or light) to write the final entry in his journal while he was hiding from the Ixupis in the sarcophagus lol.

According to some sources, the jade skull from the main hall was found near the sarcophagus. And given the pot that held his spirit, that's the one that ultimately did him in, rather then the wood ixupi. Still, wouldn't have been a good idea to hide in there.

@ruudje1976 No, the colored pinball puzzle is by far the hardest one in the game. It took me forever to get that one right..
