If any of you have been following my updates. I not too long ago put up the 2007 troubador reunion concert on youtube. one such song was I'se the Bye (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnjqLk_xw-E )
which is a popular Newfoundland song. (who knew?) anyways the user. Ospreycamfootage: http://www.youtube.com/user/Ospreycamfootage (a Newfoundland resident)
found the video, loved it and presented it to the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) which is a major TV/radio presence in Canada. As a result they ended up calling my choir director from High School. John Kracht. and conducted an interview. This is the presentation of that interview. so pretty much from one video I uploaded we became international.
Audio rights to the CBC
Credit to PearlescentAngel: http://www.youtube.com/user/PearlescentAngel for putting this together
A high school choir in Idaho sings "I'se da B'ye". We speak with their vocal music director to find out how the Newfoundland song made it to there. (Jeff Gilhooly with John Kracht) *** To view the song performed on YouTube, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnjqLk_xw-E ***
congrats. gotta love mr. kracht. he was my favorite teacher in school

Fantastic job, Troubadours! And Congradulations, Mr. Kracht, for the wonderful groups that have performed this song.

It's a pleasure to view and listen to your interview! I am aware of celebration's that happen at the Art's & Culture, and celebration's celebrating the island of Newfoundland,i'll be advocating that if ever such an event happen's,that we could try to bring the whole choir to Newfoundland, finance it,and your choir
would perform it,and drop the audience
dead in their step's,I love to dream Mr.Kract! by the way your brilliant!
