Grand stage, great song ,lovely dress, and she looks fabulous. But she is really a lousy singer with an unpolished lackluster voice and not worthy of such trappings. I f you want to hear someone who truely does this song justice listen to Linda Eder's fabulous rendition of this song , it will be so obvious how Pia simply doesn't measure up to a truely great singer.

Big Linda Eder fan here too, she is one of the greatest singers!!  Pia is a great singer as well. Have you listened to any other clips, like, Come rain or come shine. Or If he walked into my life?

funny you say that, Pia was considered for the role that was given to Madonna in Andrew Lloyd Webber's movie "Evita". I think Pia would have portrayed

Evita pretty well, she at least has the look and the voice for it!!

@waynegreer72 Linda does it one way. Pia does it another. It's not wrong to have a different style and a different approach to interpretation. That doesn't make Pia Zadora a lousy singer.

honestly I don't think Pia is horrible. I think she evolved into a singer who even suprised many. The pop tarts today could only do what Ms. Zadora is doing here in the studio with lots of special effects to tone the voice. SO BRAVO PIA ZADORA!

Personally, I think she has a lovely voice. She has her style (maybe a little bit of Liza in her) which makes her who she is. Singing is not always about having what is perceived as the best pitch, tone, etc... There is a personality that also accompanies a singer. There are a number of popular vocalists who have/had less than the best sound, but their personalities shine through. That being said, I think that Pia sang through her throat more than her diaphram + her bravada needed a little work.

@waynegreer72 Pia`s voice is not that bad lol.Shes a better singer then actress though.Pia has had alot of setbacks and number of bad movie flops.I remember this album I ws in Jr HIgh school she ws talking on 60 mins.This song was for all the bad setbacks and loads of disappointments.Well thank god she was married o a super rich man.Her daughter Kady grown into a very pretty young woman.Lets hear it for Pia!
