Here we go to the top of Vernal Falls in Yosemite National Park. Alot of fun and very easy and safe as long as you stay on the right side of the railing.

  • @thunderbombman Thanks for the advice and the view. Yea I was using a Flip HD for the first time and it was the mino so It was weird haha

  • Epic Epic Epic video!!! Incredible stunning footage. Was the railing at the end the railing that the three people stepped over to take a picture and subsequently were swept over? My goodness they were insane. I have a little issue with heights and I was feeling weak kneed just watching your video. Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • @enjoythewildUSA Yea it was incredible and I couldn't say I don't know enough but I do know they stepped over some type of railing and the rails where definitely in the right places haha and thanks for watching and for the support!

  • This was great. Thats alot of water for this time of year. We were up there two days before those people went over the fall and actually hiking down from upper Yosemite Fall when it occurred. I took pictures at the top of Vernal but didn't get video at the top this time. We continued up to Nevada Fall that day too. I made a video if you have time to watch it. Just a family vacation. Hope you had fun.

  • @joshjhutton on the 31st half dome was struck by lightening and someone broke their leg on the trail I think and it rained that day but yea plenty to do over a few days!

  • @HikingVegas Nevada Fall is only about another 40 minutes from Vernal. The first time we went to Yosemite, we only went as high as Vernal. (Only spent a day in the park, and did Sequoia that year too). This year we wanted to go a bit further. (three days in the park) My youngest is only 7, so in a few years we may try Half Dome, but I just heard a hiker fell there and died on Sunday. May also try a overnight backpacking trip as well in a year or two.

  • @joshjhutton Yeah it looked like alot of water was moving in your video too! And yea we would have hit Nevada Falls if we weren't on our family vacation too! We did Sequoia and Yosemite in 2 days =/ Already planning a backpacking trip without the family haha
