  • ..beautiful.

  • @howtoplanaparty, You are talking total and absolute nonsense! VERY FEW cathedrals were severaly damaged in WWI, and fewer still in WWII. Coventry (actually a large parish church) was ruined, as was the Frauenkirche (not a cathedral). Some churches and cathedrals DO occupy the sites of early pre-Christian temples. After the death of Jesus Christ, faith had no further need of blood sacrifice. You have been reading Dan Brown again, you silly person!

  • @MandyJMaddison If you knew the origin, and secret uses of cathedrals, you would think differently. WWI many were damaged, to exposed blood sacrifice altars beneath the christian naves. Think about the gargoyles -- they are there to invite devils into the cathedral - to lower its tone, not to raise theirs.

  • BEAUTIFUL RENDITION of a Simply AMAZING Piece! There is NO DOUBT in my mind WHY King George Stood up when he heard this piece for the first time in its debut performance in Dublin. It truly takes you to heaven..and puts you at the Very feet of the Lord God Almighty! Thank you SO much for posting, and God Bless!

  • This is a stunning performance. The Chorus is wnderfully trained and sings in such beautiful harmony. AS for the echoes, well, yes it is the nature of a cathedral, but let me point out that this is a song in praise of God, so the venue is really quite appropriate.
