Mr. Clifford's 60 second explanation of consumer's surplus (CS) and producer's surplus (PS) and how to identify where it is on the graph. The bonus round shows how a price ceiling changes CS and PS and results in dead weight loss. Please keep in mind that these clips are not designed to teach you the key concepts. These videos are a review tool to help you better understand what you learned in class.

  • Luckily the government hasn't yet imposed a ceiling on awesomeness, or else you'd probably have to take these videos down.

    Great job.

  • guys... he explains it in 60 seconds because it is supposed to be REVIEW, this video is not to teach someone the theory if they havent learned about it before. pick up an econ textbook and read about it if you think he is going fast

  • I'm at school trying to study for an upcoming midtern in Micro. I forgot my earphones at home, so I'm trying to watch this with the Google Captions turned on.... I don't recommend doing that unless you want to worry about someone's supposed "dead brother". The captions suck, but if you pay attention, and mostly know what you're doing already, you can follow along.

Thanks for creating the video. You are so much help!

  • Awesome video. Mr. Clifford does a fantastic quick job of explaining this concept in a way I won't forget.

  • Great job!! succint & to the point!!

I echo all the other positive sentiments here. Tx!!

  • 3 years of reading crappy textbooks and i never fully understood this concept till i stumbled upon it right now. very nicely done man.
