Only if we can fight about what we truly think is funny. I have found over the years that i tend to like the well thought out comedies...&my peers seem to like the brainless kind. Not yours-i was talking about things like the makers of Scary Movie. Terrible...That's why i mentioned some of the comedies b4. They seem to think-and my peers don't seem to like them as much. except JS&SC.we all love them. I was just stating that that statement sounded stupid &untrue. What's the harm in that? :D
However, knowing you by now, you would critique my comment. "Is she attempting irony or black humor?" Anyway, I like you. You are a dork like me. BTW, all sixteen year olds are obsessed with odd shows like Gossip Girls. They have no concept of smart humor.
I'm not talking about the video. Btw, these videos were purely for entertainment purposes except when you came along and became so critical about it. "Don't say something like, "Murder is stimulating" That wasn't the point of the story. the story was a mystery." Come on, what kind of comment is that! Oh yeah, I can't wait to see your parody. You have proven to exhibit such a great sense of humor. Btw, I'm not mad, I thought it would be fun to stir a fight...
You've SEEN Arrested Development? OMG, ur the first Youtube person to say that to me...well, maybe that's because ur not 16. i'm 18. whatevs. So. Are you a die hard fan like me, who can't wait till the move next year?
By "Great Reviews" is this for Youtube or for some other place? Cos' on youtube you only have 1 five star rating. I'm willing to bet that's from Mulcahey161. Just saying.
Yeah...maybe i'll make a parody of And Then THere Were None some day. you can keep madcap or whatevs.
I've seen every film version of Ten Little Indians.I mean every version. LOL Okay, let me explain. Cherry Blossom Players is a community theatre group. Officially there are two versions of Ten Little Indians written by Agatha Christie. There's the respected novel and then there's the play that's not so respected. The problem with the play is that it's very obvious who the murderer is and the ending is hokey. We decided that it would be ridiculous to direct it seriously. We opted for a Clue-like
oh, that guy was the judge? I thought he was the butler. It would help if that were a little clearer... And who's Cheery Blossom Players? Are you saying this was a parody? WHy wasn't that made clear? Not to mention, why wasn't it funny? Maybe you should watch Arrested Development. Or The Daily Show. Or the COlbert Report. Or The Simpsons. or...okay, if i kept going, i'd run out of room. Point is, was this a parody, and why wasn't that clear? Have you seen parodies? Have you seen the movie?
I think you missed the point. This trailer was for a "madcap" production of Ten Little Indians that Cherry Blossom Players produced not too long ago. It's not to be taken seriously. Hence, this is why the Judge is acting like a complete buffoon in the trailer. In no dramatic telling of the story would the Judge give himself away in the trailer and use dumb lines like "My secret Kitchen Cave." Further, I know that TLI is a Mystery.
1 suggestion: where's the riddle? I wanna see the nursery rhyme.
Also...THe Judge did it. Because of how he saw that all criminals should be brought to justice. Don't say something like, "Murder is stimulating" That wasn't the point of the story. the story was a mystery...as to who would murder these people and why. And it makes you wonder...did these people deserve it? I think not. 2nd chances are commendable for all but a few...those few are people who screwed up their second chance.
Wow, I love it! I especially liked how you worked in clips from Desyat Negrityat!
