The Best thing that could have happened to Joe, even though at the time It hurt Joe quite a bit.
I believe Simon's ego was still hurting because the Voting Public proved Simon's initial comment on Joe wrong.
This was made during the 2nd Audition Round of "He's not ready, needs a couple more years", the other Judges disagreed totally.
Simon wanted Olly or Danyl (his contestants) to Win.
This time the Public emphatically knew who was Best voting 62% Joe, 38% Olly !!

Simon Cowell DOES NOT want to spend any money to develop potential Stars.
He's in it to make a "Fast Buck" off of them Winning.
If your First Album doesn't sell several Million Copies then Simon drops you because he knows the following year he'll have another Winner to make a "Fast Buck" off of.
The only other Winner on UK XFactor that's on the same level as Joe Voice wise is Leona Lewis with Shayne Ward just behind them.
These 3 are the Best Winners UK XFactor has produced.

This Performance even convinced all the Doubters that Joe was the one to Watch and not Danyl, Stacey or Olly....Most people who are avid Fans of shows like X-Factor, American Idol knew right from this performance that Joe should be in the Final.....I called Joe the Winner on this night.
The thing is as time when on in subsequent Weeks this wasn't even his best performance as Joe was only Contestant to get Even Better and Better leaving the other contestants far behind..

this guy has a great voice i liked olly to but hes just like all other singers with his voice but joes voice is different he is brilliant go joe good luck
