One of the first things we learn on srt is to keep out of waterfalls , if that was just the begining of the trip you would freeze to death on a long trip

Good on you guys for practising ascending in the waterfall... BUT 3 minutes in and I am still seeing the same 'open air pit'. Kinda boring. The first 3 abseils of Kanangra Main - an 'open air pit' have 50m+ drops - if you don't go the wet way!. Empress Falls is 27 metres through a waterfall and into a pool - and then you are only 20 minutes from a cafe.
