BOSS GT5 + HARLEY BENTON GA5

It´s me again, noodling one more time. This time I´m playing my beautifull Fender deluxe player Stratocaster with noiseless pickups through BOSS GT5 multieffect unit which has analog drives built in. I used only natural overdrive and some EQ on Fat lead setting. Amp used was Harley Benton GA5 volume set at 10´O clock.
BTW I´m not lefthanded. Camera was set in front of a mirror.That was the only way to get real angle for capturing guitar. I like BOSS GT5 for it´s very natural sound. It works well even through some active monitors using onboard amp and speaker simulators. In my opinion best sounding multieffect from BOSS besides GX700.

I was thinking of buy a boss gt-6 or 8 or whateva i one i can afford lol. And using headphones with it as a versatile practice set up, I really like metal like dream theater but i also like jazz and blues would i be able to use the boss gt to get metal like tones out of that amp? would it sound good? or should i just stick to the headphones idea?

This amp is more vintage than modern. If you want to play Dream Theater than is better to play your BOSS through headphones. I also found better metal tones like Mesa Boogie on LINE6 POD effect units. BOSS GT5 is good for rock tones because of its analog preamp section.

okay il look at some of the line 6 stuff, im new to guitar so i dont really know about these things. MY guitar tutor has a boss gt-8 which seems quite cool so i might try and find a 2nd hand one and just use headphones.
