MUSIC SHOULD BE HEARD, NOT SEEN.... TOO MUCH OBVIOUS EMOTING AND MOVING WHILE PLAYING IS A DISTRACTION FOR MANY OF US.
APPARENTLY THERE IS A PRESENT SCHOOL OF THOUGHT THAT EMPHASIZES EXCESSIVE ARM MOVEMENT AS PART OF THE INTERPRETATION...
THERE IS A WONDERFUL GROUP OF SIBLINGS WHO PLAY PIANO TOGETHER....AND I WAS SO DISSAPPONTED THE FIRST TIME I SAW THEM, AT THE EXAGERATED MOVEMENTS DISPLAYED BY ALL 5....ONE OF THE GIRLS ALMOST FELL OFF THE BENCH...

I LOVE your musicality, LOVE your tone and everything.......the movement does not detour from the music at all, the movement is the music breathing through your whole body, not just your fingers.......I can't help but move either, it's a natural part of music! It's inside of us all!
