  • My question would be, why is he sliding all over when the guy video recording is riding the same speen without the struggle? I guess it is just a lower-speed trick. How does that translate to an actual race? Entertaining? Sure.

  • For those of you who think power sliding is all show watch moto gp racers, some of them do it in a race to get out of the corner faster c:

  • @aj396 <-- what that guy said

  • @candymanbigwhitevan i disagree, if your wheel is spinning your wasting power. Ideal grip is 18% slip...which you wouldn't notice. So how does sliding out of a corner make you go faster?

  • First thing you need to be able to ride like this is ABSOLUTE trust in your machine, for me that comes with tyre grip and progressive brakes, it's so hard to find standard callipers that wont fade or snatch. Tyre choice is a black art that I cant afford to experiment with. The best handling machine I had at high speed was a Yamaha RD 250 dx, I could literally foot peg (and often exhaust scrape) it at will, and finding the sweet spot on a clipped apex on the power band was almost orgasmic, lol.

  • @bechego hey i think its legit. fast speed?? of course!! the guy recording has his camera attached to his helmet so he is free to ride normal and fast, so yeah he is able to follow him at high speed.

  • dude that power slide is wicked 1:24 the guy has so much control of that bike!!! sick ride.

  • haha powerslide ftw, i never knew powersliding was an actual technique until I stumbled upon it one day on accident, after showing a friend how it could be implemented, he laughed and showed me how the pros use it to get out of corners quicker.

  • @6iPWNi9 and it allows them to correct any mistake while going into a turn

  • @bechego in professional racing, it allows them to get out of a corner quicker because they are able to get in a better position faster to accelerate earlier.

  • really entertaining, all the best and good luck FACTORY

  • @slickstrings ever heard of throttle steering a bike???or steer from the rear???its used near corner exit.and when you refer to a bike "powersliding" into a corner with too much speed....thats called "backing in" its when your so hard on the front brakes the rear wheel leaves the track coming near your turn in or tipping point and makes the rear break sideways or just straight up.rule of thumb for us racers is leave the corner faster then you entered it.get yourself a racing then talk ok.
