Pooja Kumar & Dev Batta - Punjabi Hindu Same Day Highlights

On May 29, 2011, Pooja and Dev became husband and wife. They decided to have their wedding celebration at the beautiful Hyatt Huntington Beach Spa and Resort in Huntington Beach, California. This is one of few sites that we have in Southern California that overlooks the coast, it's a stunning view.

The groom arrived for the baraat on Tai the elephant (who plays Rosie, star of 'Water for Elephants'), with the dhol player, Shawn Kalsi. The ceremony was held outside by the pier bridge, the pundit married the couple by century old traditional Punjabi Hindu customs. Following the ceremony, the bride had a viddai ceremony, where she formally leaves her family and joins her husbands family.

The client chose one of our cinematic packages. The package included 3 Canon 5D cameras, 1 Jib operator, a same-day-edit and full length reel. Following the ceremony, we created this highlight piece to be shown at their reception.
