@frijebai ya can't patent a plant. But it can become illegal to have it, grow it, consume it, eh? USA criminalize opium, coca amphetamine. The failed to criminalize caffeine, instead, they took over panama and they are de facto rulers of Colombia [coffee and coca]. Dope is big pharma $. Pillar of USA pharma market. without the market on those drugs as a pharma/DEA/FDAdea symbiosis, big pharma would have to stop making dope and start making medicinal chemicals, for cancer, etc. sry edit

@frijebai Hey it worked for water, why not everything else?
-
@Bellita1 obviously you are not educated on the situation and live in your moms basement and spank every night because all you do is look at tobacco and alcohol funded advertisements that state a plant that would put them out of business is bad. So how about you think about how fucked up our country is and except the truth baby girl ;)

@hexstaticleon ur both right and wrong...he can't "enforce" the federal laws but he can propose a reason for the law to be enforced and if the government doesn't want to loose our tax paying dollars to a plant that will stop whatever they r doing to do so

@ikickcomputers first of all the states can't do anything unless voters allow it...I live in California and we voted for the medical legalization of marijuana and in 2010 we had a vote for the legalization and it was 47% yes and 53% no...and with numbers that close I link it is more possible than impossible
-
@iKickComputers yes he will allow state to decide. and pardon all nonviolent "drug" offenders in prison

RON PAUL a vote for him is a vote for your children's happiness.

@Rutgersfb08 Ron Paul wouldn't federally legalize weed. He'd leave it up to the state governments who'd probably keep it illegal, maybe even make it more illegal. The places where weed might stay/become legal is California, Colorado, Washington State, and Oregon. Maybe (maybe) New York. Other than those places... unlikely/ impossible.

GW Pharma have existed for years and have illegally been allowed to grow marijuana in the UK. When the government were asked under the freedom of information act hows this was allowed, the government refused to give out that information. GW Pharma are also working with Bayer who created and sold heroin as a cough suppressant and as a non-addictive substitute for morphine. So do you want to buy your medical marijuana that you can grow practically any where from these people?
