Soul-shaking music by five-time Wammie-nominated singer-songwriter Georgie Jessup . Georgie has released five studio albums: American Holocaust, Winkte & Crazy Sacred Dogs, Red Cloud's Room, Woman in A Man's Suit, and Working Class Hero. Georgie is a longtime advocate for Leonard Peltier and Native American issues. She was a nominee for the 2004 Indian Summer Music Awards, and winner of the 2005 and 2006 Silver Arrow Award. Georgie's music has been used in documentary films including the recent documentary about her life, "Woman in a Man's Suit," which won "Festival Favorite" at the Pride in the Arts International Film Festival in Roanoke, VA last year. Georgie is currently working on her next CD, as yet untitled. She will perform songs from her classic American Holocaust and Red Cloud's Room. The title song from Red Cloud's Room was covered by the Austrian group Big City Indians on their 2003 release, Native Heart Urban Soul.
