  • When I sent in my original HTC phone for warranty repairs, only the touch screen was defective. Its USB port was still working

which was why HTC was able to charge it as well in order for them to troubleshoot the touch screen issue. However, HTC claimed that its USB port was not working, and wanted to charge me $198. It looks like HTC was just looking for ways to cover the warranty repairs. Do not buy HTC phones if you do not want defective products and services.

  • Apple = a ton of individual apps

HTC SenseUI = complete access of information in the easiest fashion, plus eye candy.

  • The phone have NO flash light so forget it if you want to take photo with your friends night time, this one is not for me.

  • This phone isn't available for T-Mobile in the states. It is available for T-Mobile UK, renamed G2 Touch.

Sprint will be the first one to get the Hero in the US. Unfortunately for me (US T-Mobile user), I can't use a Sprint phone.

We can buy the International, unlocked version and it will work in the US, with the exception of 3G, which will not be usable. EDGE will have to do. Now, since the cost is nearly prohibitive ($600 on eBay)... I am afraid I might not be able to afford it a long time.

  • You damn right sprint is gonna be the first to own it
