i have a 3 speed automatic with slicks, it breaks loose hittin 3rd going down the track
355 with heads, cam, intake, carb, convertor, shift kit, flat tops and 4.56s out back

not necesarily.me n my dad had a 67 with a 400 small block about 450 rwh with a munci no slicks cooper cobra tires damn that was fast as hell...never broke loose tho..suspension was perfected
