different length pigtails, 14.4mhz srf with long tail, 17.6mhz srf with short tail. very interesting, Dr stiffler has shown that the srf of a coil is related to znidarsic's constant.

  • Oops. Frequency = speed of quantum transitional frequency / a length.

  • It means that the srf is based on the dimensions of the coil; frequency = whole number multiple of a length / speed of quantum transition... See my thread at hereticalbuilders for more info :)

    So this means that depending of the polarity of the input the resonant frequency and the power consumption differ. Does that mean that all coils are more efficient with current flowing in a particular direction ?
