The FTC spoofs the Free Credit Report commercial with its own free credit report commercial.
In todays economy, I check my credit annually. You can do it to - for Free!
Under the law, it's guaranteed.
AnnualCreditReport.com
The one you can depend upon.
Other sites may turn you head, they say their free, don't be mislead!
Once your in their tangled web theyll sell you something else instead.
AnnualCreditReport.com
The one you can depend upon.
All the others charge a fee.
Read the fine print and you'll see!
That's the harsh reality.
I should know cause it happened to me.
For truly free credit reports there is only one authorized source.
AnnualCreditReport.com
The one you can depend upon.
AnnualCreditReport.com
No hidden Fees.
Absolutely Free.

@MrKoolKorn: No, Free Credit Report dot com is something else. They always advertised with those band guys singing about it but when you went to the site they'd charge you a fee after 30 days if you didn't cancel before, suckering a bunch of people to end up paying after 30 days because many people don't read the small words. I think they're currently in some lawsuit right now.

if some of you people would stand up to the man once in a while, the man wouldn't have to keep lying to you to make money.

They aren't as cute as the guys on free credit report and they don't have the little old lady either. And just try to get a free report from TransUnion....can never answer the 'security questions' right.

The public does need to know that the "other" credit report touted on TV commercials is not free!

Well, gee, this my third attempt to get this posted. It must be because I used a real name or a real company. I will remove it below. We are inundated everyday with false advertising. This attempt by the FTC is welcome but inadequate. At least we can derive who one of the major culprits is by the fact of who this is directed at ?, which I'm sure many of you dream of there songs. We are constantly lied to and deceived on the airwaves and the FTC is nothing but spit in the wind against it.
