  • I was in ghana at that time. I saw him on the news. There is also called a place calles Ho!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The recent economic crisis has caused a lot of suffering for people in the US, but this is nothing compared to its effects in Africa, where a downturn in wall street becomes a life or death issue. Whenever an economic downturn occurs in the first world, its effects are tenfold in the third world. Global inequality has persisted despite the end of colonialism on paper. Perhaps Obama realizes this, but that's unfortunately not the impression I got from his speech

  • My reactions to this speech are mixed. I agree with Obama completely that the US and Africa must work as partners toward a better global future. However, I think in saying that colonialism is over and cannot be blamed for Africa's modern problems, Obama makes two mistakes. First he overlooks the existence of neocolonialism, through which corporations continue what colonists started; second, he ignores the lasting psychological scars of colonization.

  • When has Africa made excuses?

  • Obama blames oppressed Africans for tyranny! WTF

Globalism is good for you. Just help us kill da terrorists.

America and the Western nations will reap the WHIRLWIND.

    USA has always been evil.

Since the first psychopathic freak came over on the Mayflower.

    So no big loss.

  • the point of this speech is that we africans have to take control of now and build our own future

  • I'm Canadian and support the message that elected Obama....

Is it just me or does this speech make President Obama sound like a pup in the mist of kings...

  • this is true Mr. Prez..those greed mogul leaders in Africa only tried to enriched themselves and close relatives..example Liberia under prez Charles Taylor who destroy the country and use child soldier to destroy their own people! Thank you Prez Obama

  • Da Warmongering House Slave of Intl Capitalism

Obama completely denies that western racism and hegemony has had any negative effect on Africa since the "end" of the colonial era.

Obama tells Africa to stop blaming colonialism for it's problems!

Indeed, how dare the natives use 500 years of imperialism as an excuse for their stunted development?

We will suck the blood out of you and you need to move the fuck on

  • check out the "OBAMA DECEPTION: movie on Youtube, and u will see what a great leader he is.
