Gustav ushers in the RNC, War still looms in caucasus

The Stench of Truth (73). Hurricane Gustav dampens the RNC's first days. This is an effort by the Republicrats to convince people that they "have a heart" for those affected. Sarah Palin is attacked in press and by the Demopublicans. RNC tries to deny Ron Paul entry to the convention, they still fear the little doctor. The Caucasus is still tense even though the US has backed off slightly with their warships in the Black Sea. Georgia appears to be rearming in an effort to take Ossetia and maybe Abkhazia. The Ukraine is probably a little further from NATO membership. Russia sidles up to Syria and continues it's help to Iran. North Korea is making noise again and Pakistan is falling apart and supposed terrorists are running free throughout the country. Who's running the show and what is the ultimate agenda?
