  • Allan got the Beatles their booking at the Indra in Hamburg, after meeting Bruno Koschmeider in the 'two-i's' coffee bar in London, and mentioning that the Beatles played at his Jacaranda club on Slater street, Liverpool, and would go down a storm in Hamburg! After Allan drove them there..the Beatles did the dirty on Allan by not sending him his 10% commission! Allen was snubbed by McCartney in 1999, when he refused to meet him at the Cavern, due to Al's near the knuckle 'tell-all' book in 1974!

  • still waiting for your commission alan!!! lol

  • @xTheJudx Yeah I agree he ain't a hanger on in that way. Glad you like a bit of Joey

  • @xTheJudx Well the day the Jacaranda reopened me and my friends took bets that he would be sitting in there waiting for the gullible tourists to come in and there he was right on opening time he won't tell his story for nothing his favourite fraze is {aren't! you going to buy me a drink.) I have ears eyes to watch having once worked in the Lennon Bar a place I still frequent I will be there today around 4 watching Joey and the Wheels a fantastic blues band.

  • Alan is nothing but a sponger who walks around the cavern quater looking for tourists that like to buy him free drinks be carefull

  • Fuck Alen Williams! How good is Derek! "Alright Derek, you've done your bit now, you're not a film star"
