  • @sush494 "Entropy is energy that cannot be used to do work".....thanks for that comment. With that simple way of defining it suddenly what is entropy and what high entropy / low entropy refers to makes much more sense to me.

  • A n engineering student must understand that engineering is all about practical applications.

  • Entropy is energy that cannot be used to do work.Hence, in a system, entropy always increases, as lectured by Prof Banerjee. While studying in Scotland, my lecturer only wrote on the board that entropy is dq / dt... I was left wondering what the hell is this property???.....I researched on my own and found out more about entropy and lectured to my students just as how Prof is seen doing in this video....in plain simple English, and not dq / dt, as stated by mathematics.

  • He cant use calculator @15:30 ... even if you know entropy , you cant make it zero ;)... but great lecture.. learned a lot...

  • Amazing, his english is good. He is so clear and explicit, i wonder even a Dog can understand the lectures. Dont think Im bragging about him, just watch for yourself.

  • english not great
