Hello ma name is lala and i am from denmark .. I have tried to make this recipe at home . the org. one . : sugar, lemon juice and water. ! but how do i make it into a ball? and later aply it on the skin without using the strips? Please i hope u can help? i am so poor to buy it this months , i just want it fast and quix:)

Hello Lala.

I think your sugar paste is too liquid to use it as a ball. You have to boil out excess water. Next time you cook it just switch off your stove, when you think sugar paste is ready and keep it on the stove for a while so that the water evaporates. When it cools down completely, it will be possible to knead it into ball. Keep trying!

1 take the sugar with well dried figers

2 knead a little of the caramel until making it very soft

3. Apply to the part you need to remove hair

5. pull very quickly

6. If the dough is glued to the skin, just take a niew piece of dough and apply without previous kneading

7. If the sugar doen't stick enough on the skin, you must melt it with drops of water, and knead for a long time

8 if the sugar is to hard, put it on the microwave for few seconds. Be carefull to not burn yourself

I think you're pulling it the wrong way. You apply against the hair growth and remove the sugar IN the direction of the hair growth.

I tried it and it's wonderful, but it takes too much to epilate my legs! i love that it makes my legs so smooth, but honestly, with the electric epilator it takes only 30 minutes, with this wax over 4 hours! do i do anything wrong? i'm not a beginner in waxing! Thank you for the video :)

i made it at home a couple of times but it seems to go hard too quickly, i followed the steps of kneading the caramel, but each time i do it, it goes harder and harder, and also i doesn't stick to my legs!!!! lol

This is the Persian method which is very similar to the Egyptian method just more refined. It has been used for thousands of years throughout Egypt and the Middle East. Enjoy! =D
