@lianitka in my opinion, junie breaks away or refuses her love, because she has no hope/ no dreams about that. she says '' i love you, but, what it is worth for?'' - she is cold ; she can't love, because she is a broken soul. she hides away , so that no one could hurt her . and she breaks away

i know the ambient (winter) fits very well with the story line and junie's character. but i sometimes want to imagine junie at summer ..... maybe a white t-shirt, and jeans.

@nm11607 yes, i like the film! at first i haven't understood Junie's decision, but then when i watched it again i even started to respect it. about your question: i think the story takes place somewhere in autumn, so they all are in winter clothes. but if you see here some implication.. maybe she hides behing all that clothes so that no one could hurt her

@eraumavezumcavaloxx Junie sacrifices her love to feel free. when she sailes away and we see serenity on her face, we know that she finally achieves harmony. when i watch this scene i always think whether i can do the same...

oh, and the song..it perfectly complements it!
