In this part 2 video, I will show you how to use the Clip Bin in Camtasia Studio and to to clean ununsed media. I will also demonstrate how to export you project as a .zip file and what to do to make sure your exported file is as small as possible.

Did you missed part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9vSpTX3sRQ) where I talk about the Library (and a little bit about the Clip Bin also) the Clip Bin and where I cover in detail the difference between the Clip Bin and the Library in Camtasia Studio 7.1 (it also applies to older version of Camtasia Studio)?
I have created this 2 part video about how to use the Clip Bin and the Library in Camtasia Studio 7.1. These 2 videos will also apply to older version of Camtasia Studio...no guarante on that! ). I was asked multiple time about the difference between the Clip Bin and the Library and on how to us both of them.

I had to break the video into 2 parts because of the time limit on YouTube (15 minutes). The 2 videos are almost 14 mminutes each as i tried to go into as much detail as posible without turning this into a 2 hours video.

I the 2 videos, you will learn about the difference between the Clip Bin and the Library in Camtasia Studio and to use each one effectively. I also talk about the best way to archive your project and to export them as a .zip files. Exporting your project as a .zip file ensure that even if you delete some of the media (images, videos and sounds) that you included in your project, you can still keep the integrity of the project and that you will still be able to open the project at a later date.

The Clip Bin and the Library are 2 powerful feature of the Camtasia Studio screen recording software.

  • @Paradize221 Glad I could help you out :-)

  • Thanks yeah it worked thank you :D

  • @Paradize221 In the video I'm using the latest version of Camtasia (7.1.1). When you install it it should install the content of the library. If it's an older version or you don't have the library content, you can go to the TechSmith site (-> camtasia -> library-media) and download it for free.

Then you should be able to see the content in your library.

If you can't add your timeline or content to the library then you should try and reinstall Camtasia.

    Hope this helps :-)

  • Thanks for the help but every time i click my libary button nothing appears no default stuff its just blank any idea why ?
