Mr. Johnson of Laguna Creek High in Elk Grove, CA demonstrates his home-built hybrid motor to state officials and company representatives in Sacramento. The oxidizer is pure oxygen, while the solid fuel is normal plexiglass.
i just saw your video and congratulations. i see that is exactly like my design that I put up on Youtube except a little shorter. the cantilever frame and the front and back plates are the same also. If you plan to sell this please be aware that I have prior art on this design.
Why is everyone under the impression that hybrids can't overpressurize and CATO? Cuz they can and do. And if that happens when you're standing next to it...
My guess is a nitrous oxide and acrylic plastic hybrid motor. The fuel grain, acrylic plastic, has been left exposed and therefore you can see the combustion inside the grain as it takes place. Hope this helps. Paul
