I just bought the JumpSport 350i which is one model down from yours there and comes with the arm rails for $270 at costco shipped in Cali. It's on sale till early Dec.
I've never used one before, so maybe I won't be spoiled. I'll see how it goes. I can return it at the store and spring for the Bellicon if need be. It sure is a lot more money!

Tried it and it worked, but took some puling to get the bands on. I only did every other one and left half of the original jumpsport bands on. Now when this set of bands wears out, I have a complete replacement with a mix of bellicon and jumpsport, the same set up. I notice the difference in bands. Much smoother and tighter feel with this modification. The petals so far have not bothered me .... Hope this helps.

What would happen if you took off the noisy petals, and add bellicon cords to the lowly jumpsport:? This may be a solution for some.

What about the Jumpsport vs Cellerciser...which one do you think would be better out of those two??? I wanna get a good rebounder, but not everyone can afford an $800 plus rebounder. Thanks for your opinion

What is the Jumpsport model used in your video?

This is awesome... I have bouncing for over 5 years and have been on the fence re: stepping up a few notches to the Bellicon - found the Jumpsport tonight while researching and thought "Hmmm!??" until I saw your awesome video - you SOLD me on the Bellicon as SOON as you jumped onto the JS!! Question: have you tried the Bellicon 49 and do you like it better (over the 44)? (we have similar body mass).

The Bellicon looks like a 10 but the Price is an 800.00
I just finally worked myself up enough to bite the bullet and order a Jumpsport 250 tonight. I used an online coupon, saved 5% and it was still a crazy amount of money for me to spend! I have been using a Weider from Wal-mart.com that cost about 30 bucks, so I do believe I will think the 200-something jumpsport will be a ten in my book. lol. Great review, and if I could afford the Bellicon, I would be all over it. :)
That's an interesting suggestion, spebify. Some possible problems: (a) the bands are longer on the JumpSport, and I don't know what would happen if you stretched the Bellicon bands to fit; (b) Not sure what would happen if you removed the noisy petals, although presumably, that would be OK; (c) you'd still be left with an inferior mat and a base that wasn't constructed quite as solidly.

When I first started bouncing daily 9 years ago, the mats frayed and the springs broke on the Needaks I tried, i.e., I was about 210 and 42 years old, and the Needaks just didn't hold up. Later, I moved over to the Bellicon spring-based units, which were far better than the Needaks or ReboundAirs. But when Bellicon invented the bungee-based rebounder, they completely changed the game. Quiet, smooth--elastic bands vs. springs--deeper bounces...it's really a complete reinvention of bouncing, IMHO

I understand your reluctance, steph. If you were in my area, I could come let you experience the difference. One day, I hope, there will be a better bounder for far less money, maybe not as good as the Bellicon, but close, and more like $250 or $300 max. For now, we all have to be patient, or bite the bullet, I'm afraid. Good luck however you go forward, warmly, Jordan

I did say "4 or 5." But really, for that kind of money, compared to the Bellicon, I still think that's an accurate assessment. Now, compared to a $65 sport store rebounder, no, it's way better than that, there's no question, but still, I don't think it's worth in the $400 range.

@Idysseus cool - I though that is what you meant. The JumpSport looks great compared to the cheap spring models. Thanks for the reply!

@w3bguru Except, it is really kind of small to easily and delightfully bounce on. The actual bouncing diameter on the JumpSport would, for most people, be inadequate. It's the same reason why the Bellicon mini is good in a pinch, but I'd never want to do my regular bouncing workout on it. Good luck!
