While the dollar was worth a bit more in 2006, it still wasn't all that great. And today even the Australian dollar is worth more than a U.S. dollar. So who really cares about 2006. The writing was on the wall, even back then. The terrorists knew bringing us into two wars would destroy our economy. They didn't have to do anything except watch us waste hundreds of billions (that we had to borrow) to put us ever deeper into debt. And what did it get us? Nothing but a trashed economy.

As I type this, the Canadian dollar is worth more than an American dollar. And the Australian dollar is catching up fast, as it's worth only 2 cents less than a dollar. The economic times are changing fast, and these wars and the massive debt they've accumulated aren't helping matters. China thanks us for the business, though.
