@johnluppin Actually, MAGDALO AND MAGDIWANG were Katipunan Factions in Cavite, NOT in Tondo. Bonifacio came to Cavite to help solve the misunderstanding between 2 factions. It happened that Boni's wife was related to Mariano Alvarez, the Magdiwang leader. Bonifacio identified himself as Magdiwang during the election.

NOPE. Actually Magdiwang = a katipunan branch in Noveleta, Cavite started by MARIANO ALVAREZ.. Until now, there's a barangay called Magdiwang in Noveleta. HINDI si Bonifacio ang nagsimula ng Magdiwang branch ng katipunan. KKK ang sinimulan ni Boni, it just happened na uncle ni Gregoria de Jesus si Mariano Alvarez kaya dun cia.

"Magdalo" branch was led by Aguinaldo, derived from "St. Mary Magdalene".. the patron saint of Kawit, Cavite.
