  • What NONSENSE. I am not surprised that Internet, scamming FRAUD Anthony Colpo likes this........

  • @Razwell Would like to see your opinion in detail on what you feel is nonesense. This is just a demo and Dimitri here is only gong about 40% realistic energy as we wouldn't want to really rake and gouge the eyes of our volunteers for real lol. Shredding has worked for countless numbers of people we have taught...this is not a technique just a tool one can use when appropriate like any other means of striking.

  • This would only work on a non agressive, very passive, and horribly uprepared induvidual. This is not self defense, this is suicide. Pause at 0:03, his training partner is already off balance, try doing that to someone who in real life, no one in training would ever let this bafoon get close. I want to see this retard go up against a combat Jujitsu specialist, or a combat Hakido master.... it will be over in less than 3 seconds guranteed.

  • @thechewboxlive Actually Dimitri is trianed in BJJ and JJ. This is just a demo once someoe is locked in. There are means of bridging the gap before getting hte shred. It is not meant as a "fighting" technique. You cannot just enter with shredding that would be suicide for sure! especially against a trianed grappler who understands CQC. You have to have the proper setup just like any other strike.

  • @thechewboxlive And for the record Richard Dimitri has put his money where his mouth is. In seminars he has openly allowed anyone to attack however and with whatever they want. And he reacts accordingly. again this video is just a demo of its application. Not some way of showing a "super technique" There are ways of entering and there is so much more to self defense than techniques. This is merely 2% of what we cover and train in regards to self defense.

  • The people who volunteer as the Shredding-"victims" in Dimitri's seminars are true heroes (or naive, Jackass-type, macho-men, insane, or overly brave). Either way, I salute them ;)

And ofcourse, this is only a light Shred, or almost a simulation of the real thing. But the psychological impact is still there. One has to personally feel it to understand it.

  • Stuff like that would keep you alive in max. sec. prison!

  • @disgustika

Hahaha, funny little boy, go get an education first loser =)

  • @thechewboxlive You're an idiot.

  • I think the point of this small demo clip was to over whelm the attacker..at any point the defender could have snapped the neck of the gy with the ponytail

  • I'm definetely doing this if someone on the street attacks me! :D

  • @SenshidoITL Also Richard Dimitri is one of the few who puts his money where his mouth is. Often does he ask someone to attack him with whatever and however they wish. (well he used to lol). I believe there is another video out there where has a grpapler use his bjj while he is restricted to just shredding. Dimitri hurt his shoulder (apparently form a previous injury) during the "test" but was still able to continue and have the grappler stop fighting.

  • @thechewboxlive Sorry you feel this way. for the record Shredding is not a technique. it' an application. Shredding alone in no way is an end all "technique" It must be applied from a close quarter range and at Senshido we stress learning all ranges (cqc, striking, grappling, etc). The video was merely a demo that people requested to be put up ;) The last thign we want is for people to have a flase sense of security. Our videos are for demonstrative purposes only and not to teach.
