SSFIV: You don't need skill to play Ryu

My Friend (CJL122) proves a point on how much skill it requires to play Ryu. How much do you ask? Answer is NONE! He even lets the guy get a few free hits in so he can use his ultra lol

What a fail video. Ryu requires a lot more skill to use than a large majority of the cast. Everyone knows what he's capable of and everyone has seen everything he can do. He has no gimmicks or mix ups making him a character that relys on good reads and good execution. And being able to make good reads requires way more skill than simple rushdown characters like bison who can just lk scissor kick and ex psycho crusher without looking for an opening. @chrluzz You said it! Almost 90% of the ranked matches I've played I have battled against Ryu or Ken, and it's been rough... Heck, the european servers are full of those morons, spamming hadokens and Ken's insanely fast and powerful shoryukens. There's, like, 34 characters in SSF4AE, so why the heck use only two of those!!

Ryu has many good normals(easily combos) and more than average health he's a noob's best friend :/

But Ken? Oh my god, fuck him he's like ryu but with more frame advantage. I hate Ken-pro wannabees the most who make it somehow to over 1500pp and then think they're the shit. I love beating those assholes to the ground :3

Last time I battled a Ryu user, I used Gen... And Gen is uhhhhhh.... Pretty much hard to connect given his limited normal attacks... But yeah... I managed to beat that Ryu in an epic moment...
