WATCH IN HD!!!!WARNING! CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!! Kallen and Lelouch never really had a chance to have a love life.
I remember on episode 14 of season 1 C.C told lelouch that he should keep those who you don't want to loose at a distance so when they kissed and he didn't say anything, I bet he was taking C.C's advise. And he died so they never really had a chance. This song in a way matches the relationship. Its kind of sad.

great video i am always get depressed when i see how code geass ended...

kallen and lelouch had the most feeling of attraction to each other...more than other couples in this series.

but at least lelouch did the right thing and gave kallen to fulfil her dream...

also because they didn't even had a chance to start a romance relationship kallen can live happily with more ease

also he gave to c.c a reason to live and made the world a peacefull and kinder

to every one.

I think he died but so did C2 through the series. I think that he became immortal and died in the end, but came back to life in the end. He probably didn't tell anybody so it would be a clean break. This is wishful thinking but it's open to interpretation. The director said that he want the audience to use there own imagination for a couple of things so he didn't tell us everything in the anime.
