Wow all the nominee's are AMAZING! I mean come on, Rush of Fools, Mandisa, Brandon Heath, 33 Miles, Group 1 Crew - some of my favorite artists ever.

It was interesting how they transitioned to the next artist too.

And I totally forgot to tell Brandon Heath congratulations for his Dove last month! Oh well.

You can tell that all the performers except Mandisa and Heath are NOT performance artists. The rest sound much better in the recording booth, and maybe that's where they should stay.

Prettyfresh20 actually, some of the songs of your mother's generation were the sam type of tunes sung in pubs, salons and bars.

You get a dance out of it. But one day, your soul will need to hear the words and will be touched.

nothing's wrong with the music of today. just like nothing's particularly right about the music of your mom's generation either.

God like's variety. that's why each of looks difference. that's why artistes sing different songs of praise to HIM.

I understand what the person is trying to say yes we are to make a joyful noise unto the lord but God did say we are to keep the things of the world away from the things that are of God. I'm more touch by the songs of my mothers generation when they sing and i am going through something, but if i listen to some of the music of today's generation i can get a dance from it but it does nothing to ease my soul.
