This is a sequel to my previous video on the Aliens trailer.

  • sound doesn't match up with pictures:(((((

  • That's only because it's on YouTube, which always mis-synchs the sound for every video put up. I can assure you, in terms of synchronisation, the video is much better than this.

  • Actually, having watched this version the sound is still synched well despite YouTube's extra faults. There's a couple of vocals that are a bit off, but that's to be expected when their over-dubbed by completely different people. Namely me and my mates. And we're no voice artists.

As for the sound not representing the actions in the video, I strongly disagree. I meticulously re-made or re-dubbed different SFX for every sound effect on the trailer bar one, and even made some new ones.

  • What can I say about Aliens - incomparable masterpiece, the Best Action of the 80's and one of the best films ever made. I can't believe Sigourney Weaver didn't win the Oscar. She was absolutely brilliant. Anyway all the actors did a great job, visual effects were just WOW. It was like NON-STOP ACTION.

Best films were in the 80's and 90's. I miss that time.

  • Very well done! Although you might not want to pursue a career in voice-overs. ;)

  • Reverse. As this is a College project I assume you're doing the work yourself, without the most expensive equipment? In which case, very impressive! I took a look at the original trailer, and the quality of your work is close to that, and that's done by a studio! I assume you've done it on purpose but your theme also really fits with a film released in '86. Seeing your Who stuff aswell, I think you should be working at the beeb, I'd be interested to see you getting hands on with Dr Who season 5!
