My loss occured in October too: must be something about that time for us....used to love Halloween too; I still do, but there will forever be a shroud round that time of year form here on out.
You got a double whammy and I truly feel for you. My ma is a lot younger than my dad, not that that means anything (she had two skin cancer scares this summer in addition to what was going on with my dad) but, statistically, and in line with her lineage,hopefully I'll have her for a while.about

Hi Art! Thanks for the kind words, and for stopping by the show. I still can't get past the fact that I have no parents to 'go home to' if the going gets really rough. I know that might sound weird...I've been on my own for years...but it was always a comfort to have Mum and Daddy 'there'...keeping the home fires burning.

Boy can I relate to your opening comments: for me it was my precious father a coupla months ago; shock for awhile, but now that's what I'm trying to do: get outside myself and the Leopard Lounge is really helping and I hope it's helped you too. I bet we're with them again when our times come. Love.

Oh sweetie! I'm so sorry to hear about your father! My Mum was last year, well Oct. 2008, and my Dad in Oct. 2004. October is a bad month for me! I appreciate you coming over to take a peek at the Lounge. I try to take people away for oh, about 10 mins, and give them a little distraction, something good to watch!
