I just did a 3 day security detail for Pat in Chicago...he is without a doubt the nicest, coolest, most down to earth artist I have ever met. He is incredibly fan friendly and loves his music. He is what every musician should be like.

I just saw the Smithereens a few days ago. Out of all the bands I've seen live over the years, They are in the top five...they absolutely blew me away. Pat & "the Thrilla".. very cool.

What ailment is/was he suffering from? I saw him recently in Iowa at a casino/bar. The band sounded great. I figured it had to be a medical condition.

I wish I was there, I'd love to know where this is. I grew up in Drexel Hill on Berry Avenue. I bet the hecklers on this post would think twice if they knew that Nirvana might not have been anything were it not for this man.
