@M1ggins It should be noted that (on the assumption that both collisions were deliberate) the 89 collision was at a slow point on the circuit. This was at one of the fastest. It can therefore be argued that Senna's blatant ram in 1990 was worse, as he but them in more danger.

and thats racing iam watching it again

@pisomark I dislike Prost for what he did, so don't get me started on Schumacher ffs, how he and flavio were allowe to continue in the sport after all the cheating in 94 is a joke. Illegal electronics found, illegally altered refueling rigs and the ram, nothing pleases me more than to see him get pwned by the rather average Rosberg.
-
@M1ggins ok, i undertand and respect your opinion.
by the way this is the only controversial episode in a 14 years career for monsieur prost.
look at schumacher, even in seasons like 1998, without the decisive collision at last race, he did a lot of crash, penalty, he even win at silverstone cutting the line in the pitbox because he has to do a 10 second pen......bleah!!!
-
@pisomark who knows, it might've caused an accident and given the title to Prost, the difference is Senna went for the gap and Prost went for the car, after all his whining and bitching about Senna who was the driver that purposefully caused a crash? You also seem to think that I'm a Senna worshipper, not the case, he wasn't even my favourite driver of the period he was in. Prost, on the other hand HAD been, and became the driver I disliked the most

@M1ggins for example in the original english comment of that gp you can hear james hunt blaming senna for the crush, i remember watching the race with friends and parents, and livetime was hard to decide who's main fault.
yes, watching col-minded the replay dozen of times, was clear the fact that prost, more than provoke a shunt for pourpose, was'nt given up at the usual senna extreme manovrue. and, maybe isn't a point, but tell me if senna can do the corner arriving so fast and so inside...hmmm
-
@M1ggins the fact that it was the first time you see that doesn't mean it was the first time that this kind of things happened (ex: jones vs piquet montral 80).
as i said, prost did it in pourpouse, but wasn't disgusting at all, he was well in front of senna, and formarly he still would decide the fucking line he want to do, even cut a little the chicane. what happened after with balestre is the reason why everyone blame so bad prost, but the incident itself wasn't so clearly unfair
-
@M1ggins Gugelmin,is that you?Just kidding, now what the hell do you race that even requires half the skill these guys had?And honor.Shit senna said it himself,''If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver''.Prost went for a gap,out pops Senna going blindly into the corner having his little bitch fit over the pole spot,he was willing to have a wreck with Prost to prove his point, tell me who had less honor.I loved Senna, every bit about him, this race just ercked me.

@pisomark you can beleive what you wish, the fact is I liked Prost because, apart from being a fantastic driver, I thought he was honourable, but suzuka changed all that, he had no honour at all, and the first driver I'd seen purposefully ram a competitor off, which as a racer myself I find totally disgusting. If you think Prost was going onto the racing line I suggest you go to an optician, he blatantly aimed at Senna as his line would've cut the first corner by about 4 feet.
bang, payback a year in waiting, anyone who slates Senna for this MUST also slate Prost for his blatant ram in 89, otherwise you're just a foolish hypocrite. Senna was shafted by Balestre and Prost in 89 and the tried to do it again in 90, so he gave them some payback.
