This is a video I took of "Yukon Queen" during August of 2009. 190's replacement whistle is featured in it. She's a wonderful engine.

  • dude one builder plate is differnt from the other.... was this taken on the same day?

  • @288jh Why would you think that? Yes, it was taken on the same day. I've never seen a locomotive with two identical boiler plates. One is the Baldwin plate with her const. number (69425), the other is from her days in USATC with her locomotive number (#190)

  • that don't really sound like a lunk its sounds like a crosby used at the Cass Scenic Railraod in 1996

  • @david245611 No, this whistle is a Lunkenheimer, not a Crosby. It clearly looks and sounds like a Lunkenheimer. Also, Tweetsie Railroad's head engineer has said it's not a Crosby.

  • Man, I love that whistle! It sounds great up on top of the hill. The first day it was on her, I honestly didn't recognize it.
