Art Adventures: Sketch Tuesday

I stopped by Sketch Tuesday at 111 Minna Gallery a few weeks ago. Just checking in on the live art event that's been going strong for over a year now, maybe almost two. It was started by Sacha Eckes in the back room of the gallery and has since taken over the whole gallery every Third Tuesday of the month. Sacha is now in Belgium, but her friends, Brad K. Alder, Kelly Tunstall and Gabe Scott, have kept it up.

People! This can be done in any city anywhere, just need a space to do it and some artists to participate. What makes the sketch Tuesday in SF work so well is the hard work by Brad and crew arranging everything and The selection of artist who have a bit of traction in the community. Oh, and a bunch of people who are into it and go and buy drinks at the bar...
