  • Who remebers taking an MMS bumper sticker and cutting out each individual letter and pasting them across the rear window of their car? And oh yeah, the Wednesday morning Coffe Break Concerts...No job, no prob...just party till 1:00 p.m. and go home and sleep it off...good times.

  • every fri. night getting ready to get down damn it . love your honey and get down . miss the old days and tyey will never be the same. all i want is a good gualility buzzard to get a t- shirt from. cant find one yet. things will never be the same. . miss murry hall and all of 6:00pm fri. night getting ready to go out for weekn end. boy did wmms screw up.

  • Kid Leo was awesome as well. Do you remember during the summer... "It's time to turn before you burn"? Kept me from getting a sunburn. LOL!

  • These adds were kickin' ass!

  • WMMS - a great Cleveland radio station in the 70's and 80's (along with M105)! Remember all the $1.01 and Coffee Break concerts. It's a shame they were bought up, commercialized, and lost their progressive format.

  • This station, along with KSHE in st louis, was the pioneer of midwest AOR rock stations with an independent spirit during the 70's and 80's. You didn't just listen to the music, you let it control your life, it told you what concerts to go to, what rallies and events to show up at, and how you should feel about political issues. all way before the huge corporations (aka Emmis) took over and made it all milktoast drivel. I miss Jeff & Flash in the morning!

  • These are Great! I forgot about these ads. We were lucky to pick up 'MMS in Lake County. The Buzzard was a great design.

    Thanks gmanusa1!

  • Man, no one can say it like the Boom.

My favorite was when he did the "The station that reaches the beaches, shakes the lakes and rocks the rivers!"
