This is from the movie, "Faith of Our Fathers."

John McCain was a ground attack pilot in the F-4 Skyhawk. While flying a mission, his plane was shot down over Vietnam and then captured by the North Vietnamese forces. He was held as a POW for 7 years, and tortured several times to break his will and sumbit to his captors. But John McCain was resolute, he would not give in.

We went to Vietnam to fight Russian Soviet influence in the world. We were afraid that if all Asia become Communist, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa would eventually turn communist as well. Same reason why we fought in the Korean War, to prevent the Communists from taking over the world.

What I want to know is there was a candidate showdown between 2 VN-era fighter pilots (McCain and Bush) that proved that McCain crashed his A-4, but is there any proof that GHW Bush EVER flew his Alabama NG F-106? Not seen it yet!
