  • We are so fortunate to live at a time when these perfomances are able to be preserved with such clarity. The happy mixture of Mahler and Bernstein is one that can live on.

  • i do not know why I read the comments. I just get infuriated. Maybe I'm looking for even more inspiration. Everyone is a critic. Too fast, too slow, missed notes, etc. That's about 90% of the comments. Can you do any better? Ah yes, Bach, Mozart,

    Beethoven, Brahms, etc. They all had something special. They were all great. But I have to agree with a lot of you that Mahler was maybe God incarnate.
