@kasperx01 Keep in mind, in this video we are talking about legalizing hemp. Something that has no abuse potential at all. America is the only industrialized nation that bans growing hemp due to it's threat to the establishment.

This guy's on it. No pun intended. I mean he's knows his facts. But I think the idiots in 1937 were more evil than idiotic. Shell, Mobil and Dupont knew why they were pushing for this prohibition and and wasn't because of people getting high. They were afraid of the competition to petroleum and still are. Hemp fiber can also be used to produce very good fuel pellets, comparable to wood pellets.
All other biomass fuel pellets (from straw etc) produce more ash, and are corrosive to the stove. Hemp pellets produce no more ash and are no more corrosive than wood pellets. However we could produce hemp pellets in any location at a fraction of the cost of wood pellets.
