Jay Denham produced this cool track ,which was totally ignored by most DJs at the time. Always to be found in the bargain bins...

  • btw Ressla the sound quality of this upload is excellent, both very loud and quite clear. Any tips on how I can get volume levels higher on my uploads?

  • This was uploaded when youtube hadn't put the major compression and automatic gain control on. You can still get around this in various ways but the newer uploads will never quite as crisp as these older ones.

  • I'll will pm you later today or tomorrow with more detailed info. There are some vids on youtube showing how to improve sound quality, so it may be worth doing a search in the meantime ( I know silverdale247 has links to one good one in his recent vids).

  • Thanks. I will be posting "Peace Out" too, but I have so much I want to upload, I'm trying my best to get through it all, and give exposure to as many different artists as possible!

  • a lot of the early Juan Atkins, 3MB, and Eddie Flashin Fowlkes had the breaks and chords going in a similar fashion...

this was the sound of Detroit from 1991 to 1993 (even as late as 1994)...

    beautiful stuff...

I can also hear subtle influences from NY and Chicago in this track!

  • Kalamazoo represent, y'all some talented fockers xoxo Your record still sounds amazing, Jay, be proud of yourself.
