A note to those below.
Latin does not come from 'old Greek' or indeed Classical Greek they are linguistic cousins being both Indo-European languages but no closer.Latin is,of course an Italic language from the Romance Group whilst Greek is in a family grouping all of its own and only descended from a common Indo-European ancestor(from which Persian and Armenian also derive.
Romanian is a full romance language and a very close Latin derivative with some slavic vocabulary.

I have to confess that I do not know the origin of Latin. All I know is that many languages have their origin in the Indo-European language, but I don't know any details about the Latin language. Anyway, thank you very much for this information. I will do some research in this respect...:)

It probably is me ... but I find Angela Gheorghiu in this movie as very beautiful. She has that pure romanian beauty.
