OSCE Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, continues

The 2-day summit of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) continues in Astana, Kazakhstan. The 56 world leaders are scheduled to adopt a final declaration today.
The Georgian side demands fixing of the information about Georgia's invaded territories in the document. Statements in support of Georgia's territorial integrity and state sovereignty were made on December 1.
Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of Estonia called on Russia for fulfillment of internationally taken commitments as under the 2008 truce agreement.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev left the summit on December 1. Experts claimed that the reason of Medvedev's early leaving was harsh criticism towards Russia and open support to Georgia that presumably iterated the Russian Federation's leader.
Philip J. Crowley, US Assistant Secretary stated as part of the briefing that Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State met with Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili on the sidelines of the summit and pledged support to Georgia's territorial integrity.
It will become known whether or not all the OSCE member states will reach an agreement over a new concept of security that will determine a strategy for the next 12 years. Russia is expected to veto the strategy.
