My mom was given a 1992 Caravan back in 2000. It was absolutely terrible, even in good condition. We finally ditched the piece of shit in 2003 and replaced it with an '03 Toyota Sienna, which we have to this day. It's a great car, and I'm way happier that we have that than the Caravan.
When I buy my first minivan (if I have to), I'll buy a Sienna if it's still around.
